We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for cross-app tracking or personalized advertising.
5. How sharing and social features work
Some features are designed so other users can see limited information about you:
- Friends and shared habits: Users you connect with may see profile details and habit or streak information that the product is designed to show for those features, based on your choices and settings in the app.
- Invites: If you invite someone by email or link, that invite may reveal that you use Actava and that you initiated the invite.
- Blocks and reports: Blocking limits discovery and interaction as implemented in the Service. Reports may be reviewed by us to investigate safety or Terms issues.
Do not share content you are not comfortable making available through these features.
6. Service providers and disclosure
We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf to operate the Service. Our primary infrastructure provider is Supabase, which we use for authentication, database hosting, file storage, and serverless functions.
We may also disclose information:
- To Apple, to the extent required for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, or platform services
- If required by law, legal process, or governmental request
- To protect the rights, safety, or security of Actava, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Retention
We retain personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete associated account, profile, and app data from active systems, subject to:
- Short-lived backups or logs that are overwritten in the ordinary course
- Information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons
- Information you shared with other users that may remain visible to them in limited form (for example, content already delivered in a shared streak before deletion), where technical or product constraints apply
Local data on your device (such as notification schedules) is removed when you delete the app or clear relevant local settings, subject to your device operating system.
8. Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app under Account Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your authentication account and associated app data from our active systems as described above. You may also request deletion by emailing support@actava.app from the email address associated with your account.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including Canada and various U.S. states), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Appeal or ask questions about our handling of a privacy request
You can often update profile information directly in the app. For other requests, contact support@actava.app. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You can control notification permissions in your device settings. You can revoke Sign in with Apple access for Actava in your Apple ID settings.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transit (HTTPS), access controls, and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International processing
We may process and store information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@actava.app and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

The iOS app does not use App Tracking Transparency prompts or third-party advertising trackers. Our related websites may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate pages (for example, auth callback or password-reset flows). We do not use website cookies for cross-site advertising.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy at https://actava.app/privacy and revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
